A PIONEERING drone from 3D Robotics has captured Sydney’s most iconic locations from the sky in a series of remarkable shots.
The $2000 3DR Solo, launched on the city’s harbour earlier this month, can fly on its own, following a route pre-programmed by the user to capture 360-degree images.
It comes with a GoPro camera stabilised with a rotating support called a “gimbal”, and can stream live HD video to an Android or iOS device. It also has a pause button that can stop the drone in midair.
Feast your eyes on these spectacular images of the city’s famous beaches, city centre and most elegant buildings.
