The all-new Swift has quickly gained market attention and already become a top-selling vehicle in India. The sporty design of the all-new hatchback has caught the attention of many. With time, many new Swift owners are choosing to customise their vehicle to stand out from the crowd. Here is the latest modified all-new Swift.
Modified 2018 Swift
The hatchback seen here gets only visual modifications that enhance the visual appeal of the vehicle. The striking red colour of the Swift catches a lot of attention on the road and with these new accessories and modified parts, it aims to capture even more eyeballs. To start with, the alloy wheels of the vehicle have been painted black that gives a very contrasting effect to the colour scheme of the vehicle.
The headlamps and the tail lamps have been given a smoky effect. It now gets a darker shade tint adds a sporty look to the vehicle. It can be noted that smoked lenses of the lamps can reduce the brightness but it sure makes the vehicle look much sportier. The exteriors also get door cladding that adds a robust look to the car. The stock halogen bulbs have been replaced with High-Intensity Discharge (HID) bulbs and LED lamps. Also, it gets small LED DRLs placed above the front bumper lip that makes the vehicle much more visible in the bright daylight.
The interiors also get a makeover. The seats have been wrapped in coloured faux leather seats that match the exterior colour of the vehicle. It sure looks much more exciting than the stock Swift, but leather tends to become hotter quickly and occupants may feel uncomfortable during hot sunny days.
Apart from these visual changes, the mechanicals remain the same. The new Swift uses the HEARTECT platform that is much lighter in weight. It gets two engine options – a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel engine. The power output of both the engines remain same as the previous generation Swift but due to the lighter body, the new Swift offers better performance and fuel economy too. It also gets AMT automatic transmissions with both the petrol and diesel engine options.
