The Uttar Pradesh (UP) Deputy Chief Minister, Dinesh Sharma has directed officials of the secondary education department to declare the date sheet for the state board examinations by this month for the benefit of students.

Here’s what Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said:
“The examination centres should be decided in such a way that they are utilised to their full capacity,” Sharma told PTI.
Meanwhile, the number of student registration in Uttar Pradesh state board has fallen drastically, with nearly 14 lakh fewer students registering for class 9 and 11 examinations for the 2017-18 academic year, as reported by TOI.
This year, the UP Board Class 10, Class 12 results were declared on June 9.
Further, the board conducted the Class 12 and Class 10 results for nearly 60 lakh candidates in the state.
Number of candidates:
- UP Board Class 10: Around 34, 04,571 students
- UP Board Class 12: Over 26, 24,681 students
Moreover, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also released a Whatsapp number to register complaints regarding cheating cases.

The Board was set up in the year 1921 in Allahabad by the act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted the first examination in 1923. The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh is the Uttar Pradesh state government administered autonomous examining authority for the class 10 examination (or secondary school level examination) and class 12 examination (or inter college level examination) of Uttar Pradesh, India.
