She secured a seat in BA (Hons) in Political Science at Miranda.
“In my family not many have gone to college. In fact, I think I am the first one to actually get into a prestigious North Campus college,” Neha told HT.
Gautam has finished her schooling from Government Girls Senior Secondary School in New Kondli. Her best of score was 92.25 per cent and registered her name in the second cut-off list.
Her father is a driver while her mother is a homemaker. Neha wants to become an IAS officer in future.
Why did Neha choose this college?
“There is definitely some value attached to the brand label. Why shouldn’t I be able to get the benefits of a north campus college?” she told HT.

Miranda House: Out of 1,000 available seats, nearly 996 seats have been filled.
“Looks like we are done with admissions. Most of our courses look like they maybe either closed, or we have already had over-admission. Even if we do have a few seats remaining, it would only be a seat or two for the general category students of English and Sociology (hons) programmes, and the other remaining seats would be for reserved categories,” said Pratibha Jolly, the principal, in a recent HT report.
