The Gemini app has added data protection for all Google Workspace for Education users, so conversations with Gemini are not reviewed by humans and are not used to train AI models. In addition, in October of last year, we included enterprise-level data protection for certain Education Standard and Education Plus editions of Google Workspace for Education. The Gemini app protects data to the level of an enterprise: is covered by the Google Workspace for Education terms of service as a core service. Ensures that industry rules like COPPA, FERPA, and HIPAA are followed. Receives the same level of technical support as other core services in Workspace, like Docs and Gmail.
